Terms and Conditions for JUJU RIDE PVT. LTD.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the bike taxi services (“Services”) provided by JUJU RIDE PVT. LTD. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our Services, you (“User,” “Customer,” or “Rider”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1 Users must be at least 18 years old to book and use our bike taxi services. 1.2 Riders must hold a valid driver’s license and meet any other requirements specified by local regulations.

2. Booking and Cancellation

2.1 Booking: Customers can book rides through [mobile app/website/phone]. Bookings are subject to rider availability. 2.2 Cancellation: Cancellations made within 10 minutes of booking are free of charge. Cancellations after this period may incur a cancellation fee of base amount and distance covered by rider. 2.3 No-Show: If a customer fails to show up at the designated pickup location within 15 minutes, the ride may be canceled, and a no-show fee may be charged.

3. Payment

3.1 Fare Calculation: Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and applicable surge pricing during peak hours. 3.2 Payment Methods: Payment can be made through [cash and mobile payment app]. All payments are final and non-refundable except as provided in these Terms. 3.3 Disputes: Any fare disputes must be reported to the Company within 2 hours of the trip.

4. Conduct

4.1 Customer Conduct: Customers must act respectfully towards riders, wear a helmet (provided), and follow safety instructions. 4.2 Rider Conduct: Riders must drive safely, follow traffic rules, and ensure the safety of customers. 4.3 Prohibited Conduct: Any form of harassment, violence, or illegal activity is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of services and legal action.

5. Safety

5.1 Helmets: Helmets will be provided and are mandatory for all customers. 5.2 Accidents: In case of accidents, both the customer and rider must immediately notify the Company and cooperate with authorities. 5.3 Insurance: The Company does not provide direct insurance coverage for riders or customers. We encourage both riders and customers to maintain personal insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.In the event of an accident, both riders and customers are responsible for their own medical and legal expenses.The Company takes reasonable steps to ensure the safety of its services, including regular maintenance of vehicles and adherence to safety protocols.By using our Services, customers and riders acknowledge the inherent risks involved and agree that the Company will not be held liable for damages, injuries, or losses except where it is proven that the Company was negligent.

6. Liability

6.1 Customer Responsibility: The Company is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings or damage to personal property during the ride. 6.2 Company Liability: The Company shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Services.

7. Termination

7.1 The Company reserves the right to terminate a customer or rider’s account for any violation of these Terms or any inappropriate behavior. 7.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any customer or rider at any time, without prior notice, for any reason deemed necessary by the Company.

8. Privacy

8.1 The Company collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the Services, customers consent to such data collection and usage. 8.2 Customer and rider information will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law or as necessary to provide the Services.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Darjeeling.

10. Changes to the Terms

10.1 The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated via website and will become effective immediately.
