On August 21, 2023, the AIC-SMUTBI hosted a remarkable event celebrating World Entrepreneurs Day. The event aimed to highlight the incubator’s mission of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the region and showcase the incredible impact it has had on nurturing entrepreneurial talent.

The event kicked off with an enlightening presentation on AIC – SMUTBI. Attendees were introduced to the wide array of resources, mentorship programs, and facilities provided by the incubation center to budding entrepreneurs. The presentation emphasized how AIC-SMUTBI acts as a catalyst for transforming innovative ideas into successful business ventures. Following the presentation, a series of inspiring success stories were shared, featuring startups that have flourished with the support and mentorship at AIC – SMUTBI. Entrepreneurs recounted their journeys, highlighting the challenges they overcame and the milestones they achieved. These stories served as a testament to the effectiveness of the incubation center in nurturing entrepreneurial talent.

The latter part of the event featured a highly interactive startup huddle, where entrepreneurs engaged in open discussions, sharing their innovative ideas and challenges within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The huddle provided a collaborative space for startups to receive valuable insights, suggestions, and solutions from fellow entrepreneurs, fostering a sense of community and support within the ecosystem.

The event was a true celebration of World Entrepreneurs Day, showcasing the significant impact of AIC – SMUTBI in nurturing entrepreneurial talent not only in the North Eastern region but also in the entire Eastern region of India. The presentations highlighted the abundant resources and opportunities provided by the incubation center for startups to develop and thrive.

The team of AIC-SMUTBI comprising of Ms Sushmita Prashad who heads the Operations along with team members Mr Sonam Wangdi Bhutia, Manager (Program) and Ms Lakshya Gurung, Manger (Incubation Program) took the lead to organize this event into a resounding success.
